General about visa
All students who do NOT have Danish citizenship - and who come from a country outside the EU - must have a Study Visa in order to stay at The International for a school year.
The most important thing to know about the application process is the following:
- The International starts the application process. You should not do anything until you hear from us.
- The application process cannot be started until three months before the start of school
- All applicants outside the EU - and without Danish citizenship can ONLY get a visa for 1 year in Denmark. It is therefore not possible to stay at The International for two years.
- When the visa application has been completed and approved, students will receive a yellow health insurance card which gives them access to the Danish healthcare system.
Questions about Visas - write to our Head of School Alex Mason at am@theinternational.dk. Alex is responsible for EVERYTHING related to Visas at the school.
