SURF 'N' STUDY
EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF COLD WATER SURFING
- Test the waters of the Danish West Coast with a programme of intermediate-level surfing and the chance to try other watersports during the academic year, delivered by qualified instructors from our surfing partners at WestWind Surfschool.

A UNIQUE WATERSPORTS PARADISE
- Located on the West Coast of Jutland, The International is close to the low flat waters of Ringkøbing Fjord as well as the wild waves of the North Sea. Nearby Hvide Sande satisfies the needs of water sport s enthusiasts and weekly sessions there give you the chance to try windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP, while focusing on wave surfing throughout the school year.
SURF AND STUDY
- Obtain internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE qualifications in English while pursuing your passion for surfing.
MEET YOUR WORLD AT CAMPUS VEDERSØ
- Combine your core academic studies with a choice of profile electives from Surf, Dance, E-sport, Football, Tumbling and Badminton, taught by our talented team. Add a host of other sports, language, creative and cultural electives to build a timetable that supports your ambitions, interests and personal growth.
EXPLORE THE WORLD WITH YOUR FRIENDS
- Our study trips set the framework for shared experiences that create valuable memories. Experience cultural exchanges with international peers from all over the globe and the chance to host them in Denmark. Surf on one of our World Trips, explore the nature, culture and gastronomy of European trips and discover the sights and delights of Denmark during your stay.
SURF AT THE INTERNATIONAL
- Weekly watersports focusing on wave surfing: twice a week during autumn and spring, once per week during the winter months.
- Windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP are included when surfing conditions are poor.
- Combine a unique year of study, travel and surf at Denmark’s International Academy, located close to the flat calm waters of Ringkøbing fjord and the wild waves of the North Sea.
- Experience all that Campus Vedersø has to offer, from top-class sporting and gymnastics facilities to cultural, linguistic and creative electives that enhance the core academic curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE qualifications in English.
Fee: 6000 DKK per student. Includes all transport to and from Hvide Sande, tuition and board rentals.
PROFESSIONAL SURF TUITION IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Organized bY Westwind SURFSCHOOL in Hvide Sande
- WestWind Surfschool offers watersport activities and equipment hire for windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and SUP in Hvide Sande, Denmark.
- With experience in providing individual and group tuition, WestWind works with partner companies and schools to run programs that develop water sports skills and create fun, engaging water safety awareness.
- All instructors have many years of experience and are active surfers.
- WestWind Surfschool are certified by VDWS and ISA.
- Located in a watersport paradise, Hvide Sande is on the Danish west coast with easy access to Ringkøbing fjord (which is ideal for beginners with its low, flat water) and the wild waves in the North Sea.
- There are plenty of perfect spots for kite surfing, windsurfing and surfing that will be used on this course.
