Mads Emil Dam will always go all-in on the things that matter here and now.
With a life build around a base of gymnastics and sports/fitness in general, the only logical conclusion after 14 years in gymnastics, a full year at Gymnastikhøjskolen i Ollerup and three years of Sports Science and Health at SDU, was to merge my two passions: Physical activity and teaching in this wonderful workplace.
With this combination, I get to do, what I love: Teach gymnastics and tumbling in the very unique Danish variety, that I've come to love, and help young people find their path in life.
Though Western Jutland is far from home, it's the best occupation I've had in my 27 years of life.

A year at efterskole is a year you will remember for the rest of your life. My goal is to help create as many happy memories as possible about the year.
Students should have their perspectives challenged and horizons broadened, so they become educated world citizens in the global world of ours.
When you see/meet/converse with former students, and it is clear that you, by being yourself, made a difference for someone else - that's when it gets real and the years of work becomes worth it.
I have used much of my time in the world of Gymnastics. It all started as a small boy - and I never left and have been part of many teams and gained experience - and experiences - through them all.
I have a special place in my heart for DGI, and I sincerely believe that gymnastics is an ever evolving sport - who can really move people and help people come together as a community.
