Consuelo Davis found her passion while travelling the world
I'm originally from Caracas, Venezuela, I have a journalism degree, and I worked as a public relations consultant back in Venezuela. Soon I realized that I wanted to travel and meet people from all around the world. I had some friends in Mexico, so I travelled to Cancun, where I found a job as an assistant editor for a magazine named Cancunissimo.
In 2001, I needed a new adventure. I decided to go to London to continue travelling and learn English, and I started working for charity organizations. I never guessed that London would be the city where I would settle for the next 19 years of my life.
Before moving to Denmark, I ran my own small business for seven years teaching Spanish to children. Lucky for me, my business opened so many doors, and I ended up teaching Spanish in British schools. That is how I discovered my passion and purpose: Teaching and working with young people.

To help them to become strong, independent and confident young adults, but also young adults with a richer cultural understanding of the world.
My speciality is Spanish IGSE and beginners. I'm also part of the student welfare team.
I also teach Enterprise as an elective, and I'm hoping, I can teach it as an IGCSE subject at some point.
But... I love dancing! So I'm a Zumba qualified instructor. I can also teach Yoga and Chinese for beginners.
I believe in trying new experiences, and I encourage my students to try something new as well!
Note from students and colleagues: Connie has many skills and specialities. But the most important one to know is, she gives the best hugs.
I fell in love with my job at the International because it is a place where people from different cultures and backgrounds can come together, learn from each other and have the most amazing year. The best thing about TI is that we are a family and it is a place you can truly call home. Viva #TIfamily.
