What to bring with you to The International

Packing list:

You must bring the following items with you to The International:

Clothes, bedding and towels:

• General clothing (remeber extra underwear, many students do not pack enough)
• Sports clothes – indoors and outdoors including shoes for both
• Winter clothing – hats, gloves, scarf etc.
• Rain clothes + Wellington or hiking boots (optional)
• Swimming costume/shorts
• Sunglasses
• Bedding including sheets, duvet and pillow – Please note beds are 80cm wide
• Towels
• Toilet articles including personal sanitary items (Cleaning articles such as toilet cleaner will be provided) We also recommend a couple of transparent plastic bags for liquids at airport security

Electronics and school equipment

• Computer – MAC or PC – although no computer consoles
• A USB stick – or an external hard drive (good for Media class)
• Headphones
• Mobile telephone and charger (please label with your name)
• Any personal medicines (the school will distribute painkillers, if necessary)
• Calculator (advanced scientific type for IGCSE maths - not graphic)
• Ruler, protractor, compass
• Pencil case (must be transparent for Cambridge examinations)
• Pens and pencils

Practical Necessities:

• Plastic cup, plate and cutlery for trips + mug for tea/coffee at the school (the school will provide a drinks bottle)
• Sleeping bag and roll mat
• Washing basket
• Bicycle (in good condition)– lights, helmet, pump, repair kit (safety vests will be provided)
• Passport (Please check expiry date – most countries we will visit will require at least 6-12 months validity)
• Danish Health Card (the Yellow Card) and EU Health Card (the Blue Card) or national equivalent. Can be ordered via www.borger.dk in Denmark
• Travel locks (we recommend TSA certified ones)
• Luggage tags
• Suitcase and hand luggage bag suitable for air transport
