Our state of the art school buildings, completed in August 2016, provide you with the best facilities to learn and enjoy efterskole life. You will have peace and quiet to study as well as time to socialise with your friends.
The International can currently host up to 90 students and creates the best possible study and living conditions for you as a priority. You'll live with up to three or four other students in contemporary en-suite twin rooms with views of the picturesque West Jutland countryside.
With a shared bathroom and toilet, your room comes with your own single bed, safe, cupboard spaces, chair and desk. We'll even give you an alarm clock to help you get to breakfast on time.
Each floor has its own small kitchen area with fridge-freezer in addition to a free-to-use washing machine and dryer in each building.
Boys and girls have separate rooms.
Modern light classrooms with Wi-Fi and interactive smartboards - well-suited for both individual and group work. Our classrooms are all named after leading figures in their respective fields - Grundtvig Aristotle, Curie and Hemingway.
Grundtvig also acts as our assembly hall and as a space for watching movies on the big screen in the evenings and weekends. Remove the chairs and you've also got a space for games and activities. You will also find a piano and guitar here should you want to find a place to practice without having to go over to our music room.
The classroom Hemingway is where you will also find our media lab with iMac computers and photography equipment.
To make you feel even more at home, we have a large common room with soft furnishings, kitchen area, pool table, board games and TV. This space can also be used for assemblies, studying and group work. Your daily refreshments will also be served here.
On our Mezzanine you can find a airport style seating lounge with a small library, a PlayStation and table football.
Off of our main area, you will also find a meeting room suited to project work and video conferencing.
