Cambridge IGCSE English as a First Language is designed for those who have already completed the IGCSE English as a Second Language or whom have English as their mother tongue.
Developing your native language skills
Cambridge IGCSE First Language English learners develop the ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively in both speech and writing. You learn how to employ a wide-ranging vocabulary, use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, and develop a personal style and an awareness of the audience being addressed.
You are also encouraged to read widely, both for your own enjoyment and to further your awareness of the ways in which English can be used.
